WE SUPPORT

BOKY MAMIKO.

Boky Mamiko is the collaboration of volunteer students and researchers from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and École Mamiko, a kindergarten and primary school in the village of Djangoa, district of Ambanja, a rural area of North West Madagascar.

Children and their families in Djangoa there live in extreme poverty and precarious living conditions. We actively support the local education to offer everyone a better and brighter future.

In summer 2018, we created a library for Ecole Mamiko and a few months later, thanks to our financial support, Boky Mamiko opened a secondary school. A group of around 25 children are now being educated and will be able to stay past grade 5, which is a novelty. We also provided solar panels for the school building, helping the infrastructure with accessing the much

needed electricity.
Moving forward, we are planning on giving access to water to 175 students of Ecole Mamiko.
